David Cherry began his journey as an audio professional with Harrison International Ministries, where he traveled extensively. He founded AmPro Direct in 1992 as Ambassador Productions as a service to itinerant ministry and the local church.  He volunteered at his home church until joining the staff in 1994 as Technical Director. He is a graduate of the Audio Engineering Institute and currently leads a team of over 100 staff and volunteers at Shoreline Church in Austin, Texas. AmPro Direct continues to train audio personnel, equip the local church and build flourishing teams.

David has been married to Lynn Marie Cherry for almost 20 years. They have two beautiful boys. In his spare time, David recharges by going for long drives while listening to audio books. He loves the thrill of an open road.
